Today we went to our second OB visit, and got to listen to Version 2.0′s heart beat. The doctor said that everything looks normal. I also finally got Hope to give me the pictures from the second Ultrasound, which I have now put on the website. Our next ultrasound will be in two weeks, in which we will hopefully be able to find out the sex of Version 2.0.

Well, our trip to Virginia and North Carolina is now over. We drove a total of 2028.5 miles on our four day adventure. We spent the morning with my parents having breakfast, before we loaded up for our 9.5 hour drive back to Orlando. The drive back was much nicer than the drive up there, as far as Paige was concerned. She was much more happy and content on this final leg of the trip. There isn’t really anything else to write about our trip, however I did add some more pictures.

Last night Hope and I traveled to the area north of Charlottesville to check out an area that a realtor in town suggested we look at. We never found the area that he was talking about, so we decided to head back to get dinner. After dinner we went back downtown for the Friday’s at Five here in Charlottesville. Friday’s at Five is basically a gathering downtown on Friday evenings between April and October. There is live music and a bunch of mingling going on.

We have been in Virginia for two days now. Today we decided to go drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, and got some beautiful pictures of the Mountains. We also went to the Natural Bridge. Hope called yesterday and talked to someone at the Natural Bridge, and they didn’t say anything about it costing any money, they said that you just get out of your car and walk over to it… So after driving about 45 minutes today, we get there only to find out that they want $12 per person to go see this. Being cheap like we are, we said screw this, and decided to move on.

…of our vacation have been fairly unevent full. We drove for 9 and a half hours to get to my parents cabin in Purlear, NC. This morning we left Paige and Chloe with Nana and Grandpa to enjoy some time with each other. Hope and I drove the rest of the way to Roanoke, Virginia. We drove around Salem early this afternoon, and then drove around Roanoke a little later. We went to The Homestead for dinner in Catawba, which is about 20 minutes north of our hotel. The Homestead is a nice little place on 150 acres of land. Food is served Family Style, so we both got to share all of the food. After that we went to the mall and walked around for a little while. We are now relaxing back at the hotel. Tomorrow we plan on driving around Roanoke some more, and then tomorrow afternoon we are going to go see some of the local sites.

Over the past week I have added probably 100+ pictures to the gallery. I’m still waiting for the pictures from the second ultrasound, but I will put them up as soon as I get them.

So we had our second ultrasound yesterday afternoon and we think it’s a baby. Version 2.0 seems to be much more active than Paige was. V2 was constantly moving, jumping, bouncing and turning during the ultrasound. The due date was determined to by February 2nd of 2008. I’m still waiting on the pictures, but I will post them as soon as I can.

Well, today is the day for Hope’s second ultrasound with Version 2.0. Hopefully all will still be well, and we will post some more pictures of the new baby when we are done.

Mommy and Daddy keep telling me I’m going to be a big sister. I don’t really understand what that means, but they make a big deal about it, so I thought I’d tell you about it. Mommy and Daddy keep making me say “baby” and point at Mommy’s belly. They showed me pictures of it, but I still don’t know what it is. Can you tell me what it is?

Well, we weren’t going to tell anyone for a while, but here it is anyway. Hope, Paige and I are expecting another baby. The due date is January 25, 2008. We have affectionatly named the new baby “Version 2.0″ for the time being since it will be our second baby.

 On July 11 Hope was in an auto accident and was having abdominal cramping, so we decided she needed to go to the hospital and get checked out. I have posted the ultrasound pictures in Paige’s gallery for all to see. You can also see the pictures from the accident.
